Building Bonds
The parents at CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' are very
special. They express their bonding through a pledge
which they recite at most functions involving parents.
Each parent is unique and is recognised for his
or her individual talent and potential. Parents
therefore contribute to the school according to
their individual strength and capability.
Parents are involved in the training of students
in webpage designing, desktop publishing and maintenance
of the buildings. The parents also conduct classes
in social etiquette, cultivating the gardens and
in a myriad of other activities. Whatever parents
do for the school, they do it in a big way and in
large numbers. Their girls see them at school all
the time and are familiar with their work and their
goals, which are to add value to their children's
education.
