CARE-Force
What do you do with 13-year-olds who have no adult supervision at home? These students need a warm and supportive environment to become responsible adults.

At Bedok North Secondary, there is a special programme, code-named 'CARE-Force', which looks after such students. Their base is a special room within the school where experiences are shared and training is conducted by social workers. The students are given opportunities to grow at their own pace and learn through interacting with and serving the elderly at the Lion's Home for the Elderly.

Mission Possible
In 1997, Bedok North Secondary School embarked on the Youth Enrichment Programme with the Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) for secondary one Malay-Muslim students. These students are mainly from the Normal Academic and Normal Technical classes. It is a weekly 4-hour programme held on Saturdays from 2.30pm to 6.30pm - 2 hours tuition and 2 hours recreational activities. During the holidays, non-school activities such as the Self-Discovery Camp, Soccer Camp and excursions are held. The outcomes are improvement in students' behaviour and academic performance, a strong camaraderie, and greater love for and bonding with the school and AMP youth leaders.
